Safety Makuaka
The Makuaka is the safest fishing boat on Aruba. The boat was build in 2006 for a very demanding fisherman. He had a very good eye on safety. The boat is equipped with 2 very reliable cummings diesels. Elektricity, salt en water are not really friends so the boat has 2 elektrical systems which is really unique. The Makuaka has an automatically inflatable raft at the top. The comfortable life vests are the most modern we could find. You can wear them the whole time, its absolutely not annoying. The modern ray marine gps and autopilot has software for the whole Carribbean. A trip to Curacao is no problem. When we stay within a 15 miles of Aruba you can always use your mobile phone, that’s nice to send realtime pictures. When we go further we always have a satellite phone on board. Ofcourse we have a radio to warn the coastguard if that is necessary. The high capacity automatic pumps complete the Makuaka. The fishing boat is insured for 8 persons.
